Smartwatch PCB Design
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I'm seeking a skilled PCB designer to create a custom smartwatch board tailored for health tracking. The design will utilize the ESP32-S3 chip and integrate a circular SPI touchscreen display, along with multiple health sensors.
Project Deliverables:
Complete schematic
PCB layout (circular, ~42–45 mm diameter)
2-layer PCB design (or advise if more is required)
Clean netlist and DRC-verified layout
Component placement optimized for wrist-wearable ergonomics
Gerber, drill, and position files for manufacturing
BOM (Bill of Materials) with Indian market availability preferred
Optional: 3D board rendering and assembly drawings
Hardware Specs:
MCU: ESP32-S3 (with native USB support)
Display: Circular touchscreen SPI display (~1.28"–1.4")
Charging: USB-C port + BQ24074 (LiPo charging and power path)
Battery: 3.7V LiPo (via JST or similar connector)
Flash: W25Q32 or W25Q64 (SPI)
RTC: DS3231 with onboard crystal and coin cell backup
Vibration motor: coin-style
MEMS Microphone: SPH0645 (I²S) or INMP441
Push button: single tactile input
Sensors:
MAX30102 (HRM/SpO2)
DS18B20 (body temp)
MPU6050 (IMU)
GSR sensor (analog or module input)
SHT31 (humidity/temp)
MAX44009 (ambient light)
Optional: BMP280 (barometric pressure), CCS811 (air quality/gas)
Requirements:
Experience designing wearable/wrist-mounted electronics
Must ensure EMI-safe sensor placements (e.g., HR sensor at bottom)
Help with connector/port selection for display, battery, USB-C
Prior experience with ESP32-S3 and sensor breakout integration is a bonus
Deliverables:
- Schematic and PCB layout files
- Bill of Materials (BOM)
- Assembly instructions
