Smart IoT Pressure Sensor PCB Design
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
1. PCB Design
Shape: Rectangular or circular.
Dimensions (LxW): Maximum 5 cm x 5 cm (preferably smaller, e.g., 4 cm x 4 cm OR 3 cm x 3 cm OR less).
Height Limit (H): After component attachment, the total height should not exceed 1-2 cm.
Component Considerations: All components must be low-profile to stay within this height limit.
2. Main Components
Pressure Sensor:
Must output analog data.
Small form factor compatible with height constraint.
Able to measure weight ranging from 100 grams to 10 kilograms.
Wi-Fi Module:
Capable of sending data to an IoT platform every hour.
Should support low-power operation for extended battery life.
Power Supply (Battery):
Primary: 3V DC provided by 2 AA batteries or combination of AA battery.
Demo Option: If 3V is not available, a 9V power supply can be used for the demo.
Future Design: Circuit should be designed to work with 2 AA batteries in future.
Expected Battery Duration: Circuit should be capable to work with 2 AA battery till 1 month.
Microcontroller:
Should have analog input support (for pressure sensor).
Capable of time-stamping and packaging data for transmission via Wi-Fi.
3. Functional Requirements
Data to be sent:
Analog value of pressure sensor.
Date and time of measurement.
Device ID for identification.
Weight measurement: Must support a range from 100 grams to 10 kilograms.
Transmission Frequency: Once every hour.
Data Format: Should be structured for easy parsing on the IoT platform, e.g., JSON or CSV.
4. Documentation Requirements
PCB Schematic: Provide a detailed schema of the PCB layout.
Component Diagram: Illustrate the placement and wiring of each component.
Component Datasheets: Include relevant datasheets for each component.
Flowchart: Provide a flowchart showing how the pressure sensor data is processed and sent to the IoT platform.
5. IoT Platform Requirements
5.1 Data Display
List View:
Display the following columns:
Date/Time of measurement.
Device ID.
Pressure/weight value.
Features:
Column filtering (Date/Time, Device ID).
Pagination if needed for large datasets.
5.2 Graphical Display
Graph Type:
Line or bar graph showing weight or pressure data over time.
Customization:
Filter data by date range.
Select specific Device ID for graph visualization.
6. Cost Details
Detailed cost breakdown is required for each component (e.g., pressure sensor, Wi-Fi module, microcontroller, PCB, etc.) when the project is delivered to us.
7. Payment Structure
50% upon scope finalization.
Next 20% after schematics, documentation, and component details are delivered.
Remaining 30% after a demo video is sent and the product is shipped.
