Small ePaper Shelf Tag PCB Design
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
Hello I'd like you to create an ePaper module PCB used for an electronic shelf tag based on the ESP32 chip. This device is similar to what you would find at a modern retail store, dynamically updating the tag as prices change. Attached are schematics and references for my desired components.
I'd like to use the new ESP32-C6-MINI-1-N4 unit as the main controller, as I'm very familiar with ESP programming already, and want to take advantage of its many connectivity options including BLE, Zigbee, and Thread.
The ePaper display itself will be the Pervasive 2.13" display using the ZIF25 connector and SPI protocol. Schematics and additional reference details are attached, please read these carefully to ensure the ePaper display module functions accordingly.
It will be powered by two CR2450 button cells, but please include a USB C connector for programming and backup power source. I'll also need a notification LED and a tactile button.
The outcomes I'm expecting are:
1. Updated Schematic (i've attached one i've been working on for reference you can start fresh if you want though)
2. PCB design/gerber file
3. BOM spreadsheet with all components
Note: I have the EXT 3-1 board and some 2.13" displays already, I've included the details of this board as a zip file because it was the only way I could get it to work. Please mimic these schematics where possible. https://docs.pervasivedisplays.com/epd-usage/development-kits/ext3-1/board-layout
Thank you for reading.
