AI-Powered Subject Matter Expert Prototype
Budget: $250 – $750 CAD
I am seeking an experienced N8N developer (or workflow automation specialist) to help me create a prototype of an AI-powered Subject Matter Expert (AI SME). This will be a foundational component of my AI-as-a-Service (AaaS) platform, which provides enterprises with AI companions that retain knowledge, assist decision-making, and support business continuity.
? Project Scope:
You will help build a modular N8N workflow system that:
? Captures and processes data from multiple sources (emails, meeting transcriptions, documents, SOPs, enterprise systems)
? Integrates with AI models (OpenAI, Claude, etc.) to structure and refine captured knowledge
? Enables conversational AI interaction via Slack, Microsoft Teams, or a custom dashboard
✅ Incorporates logic to validate outputs (reduce hallucinations, apply QA mechanisms)
? Uses CANI principles (Continuous And Never-ending Improvement) for evolving intelligence
? Ensures secure storage and versioning of enterprise knowledge
?️ Requirements:
Proficiency in N8N workflows, nodes, triggers, and custom modules
Experience with OpenAI, LLM APIs, Vector DBs (e.g. Pinecone, Weaviate, or Qdrant)
Familiarity with tools like LangChain, Whisper (for transcription), and document parsers
Ability to build modular, scalable workflows for real-world enterprise usage
Strong understanding of data validation, quality control, and hallucination prevention in AI outputs
Bonus: Experience integrating with Slack, Microsoft Teams, or web dashboard interfaces
? Deliverables:
Initial working prototype of the AI SME Companion built using N8N
Documentation of workflow structure and API integrations
Suggestions for improving scalability and modularity
Post-delivery support for refinement and debugging (optional add-on)
⏱️ Timeline:
Looking to start immediately with a working MVP within 2–4 weeks.
