Budget: £250 – £750 GBP
I am looking for a PCB designer to create a medium-sized PCB (between 5cm and 10cm) with a moderate level of complexity (double layer) and using only passive components. The ideal candidate should have experience in designing PCBs of similar size and complexity, and should be familiar with working with passive components. The project requires attention to detail and the ability to optimize the layout for efficient circuitry.
In brief I need a PCB design that can detect the current drawn from a DC motor . Nominal current is 0.5A-5A and start up current is 5A
Depending on the current we will need to activate a relay ( to signal and external controller ) .
We will need some programable intelligence on it . like a small Arduino board stile .
The goal is to monitor the running current of the motor . If it goes above a threshold it triggers the relay as an alarm .
This should allow me to monitor the health of the motor .
We will need to program some logic as to how it evaluates the state of the motor .
Some motors start/stop constantly other running for 20 sec and stop for 10 sec .
I can find several devices that create an overcurrent alarm . None has the ability to evaluate the status based on some intelligence .

These are good example . However it does not provide the option to program additional logic and filter the current measurement . Nor any connection possibilities to an HMI
Also the current measuring accuracy is important
