PCB USB3 Connectivity Fix for Smart Home Device

I'm seeking a professional with expertise in PCB design and USB 3.0 technology to rectify a connectivity issue with a simple small PCB for a smart home product. The project requires a thorough diagnosis and fixing of the PCB design to achieve USB 3 speeds.
Key Requirements:
- Diagnose current PCB layout and identify potential issues affecting USB 3 connection speed
- Modify PCB design to enable proper USB 3 passthrough functionality from an external storage device to a host PC
- Ensure the design allows for safe power cut to the external device
- Propose additional functionalities or improvements if feasible
Please note, the project milestone payment will be released only after a prototype is produced by JLCPCB and confirmed to be working. Therefore, it's important to factor this into your project timeline.
