Looking for an HW lead designer
Budget: $25 – $50 USD
We are looking for candidates for the role of HW lead designer. The overall project scope includes the total development of a new product version based on an existing version. Change of supply voltage level is the main reason for design updates, i.e. requiring mainly new analogue solutions for DCDC, charging and capacitors for pulse generation. However also new end-customer requirements will most likely be included.
You will have the responsibility to assure the design fulfills the HW-requirements and with this lies the authority for related technical decisions. You are responsible for planning the HW-work and coordinate interfaces to other disciplines and stake-holders.
As a lead HW-engineer you will also act as the system engineer within the project. This includes also:
• Requirement analysis and formulation thereof. Ensure convergence of product requirements with our customer and the end-customer.
• Good communication skills externally (mainly regarding system description+ requirement) but also internally towards project team members.
• Planning environment testing including EMC.
• Lead technical analysis that evolves from new requirements or troubleshooting from failing tests
• Valuable if you have experience from using OrCAD Capture and PCB Designer
The project scope anticipated very few (if any) updates regarding product SW (only test SW) or for the digital HW parts (but new PCB footprint).
Within the project members a hands-on HW designer working under your leadership will be available.
Other requirements:
• Minimum experience: 5-7 years
• Altium Designer experience: at least 5 years working with schematics and layout design
• Location: Europe
