Laser Diode Soldering on Single Layer PCB

I require a skilled professional to handle a delicate soldering task. The work involves through-hole soldering of laser diodes onto a single layer, flexible polyimide PCB. Ideally, the freelancer should have:

- Proficiency in through-hole soldering techniques
- Experience in working with single layer flexible polyimide PCBs
- Able to handle complex, detailed work

Potential bidders should be prepared to demonstrate previous experience or proficiency in the skills outlined. Attention to detail, accuracy and a firm understanding of safety protocols when soldering are critical.

This project involves soldering laser diodes onto flexible PCBs. A Hakko soldering station, or equivalent, with temperature control and ESD protection must be used. This project can be fully manual or automated using a soldering robot similar to the Weller WTBR1000 Benchtop Solder Robot. Each PCB has 100 laser diodes to be soldered. Each diode has three leads for a total of 300 solder joints per PCB. Flow soldering is not an option. Using a laser heat source to heat the solder is acceptable. Cleaning the completed PCB is not necessary. Testing the completed PCB is not necessary. We need an estimate of the total time it will take to complete a PCB. The size of the PCB is 8” x 12”.
