Induction Heating Power Board – Design & Prototype
Budget: £250 – £750 GBP
Description:
I am seeking an experienced electronics engineer with a strong background in power electronics to assist with the design and prototyping of an induction heating power board. The ideal candidate should have the following expertise:
- Extensive experience with MOSFET design and PWM-controlled power stages
- Proven skills in PCB design and layout
- Hands-on experience with induction heating systems
- Ability to deliver working PCB prototypes
Project Scope:
We require a power board capable of controlling voltage and current through an inductive coil to manage the temperature of a heated object, based on PWM input.
Important Note:
The PWM signal will be supplied by our own microcontroller. You will only be responsible for the front-end power stage, including gate drivers, MOSFETs, inductors and capacitors also current/voltage sensing (if applicable), and the complete PCB design and layout.
You will be expected to handle the full design cycle, from schematic to prototype.
Requirements:
- Portfolio or examples of previous work in induction heating and power electronics
- Availability for a video meeting to discuss the project in detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate remotely
If you're interested, please share examples of relevant past projects and confirm your availability for an initial video discussion.
