Indoor UHF RFID Reader IoT Device Design
Budget: $1,000 – $5,000 AUD
I'm looking for a professional with extensive experience in IoT device design and firmware development. The project involves creating an indoor IoT device that reads UHF RFID tags containing inventory information and transmits this data to an API via a NB-IoT connection.
Key Requirements:
- Design and develop a low-power IoT device that can run on battery for at least one year.
- The device should be able to read UHF RFID tags and send this data to an API.
- Firmware development for the device is crucial.
- The device will operate indoors.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Extensive experience in designing and developing IoT devices.
- Proficiency in firmware development.
- Prior experience with UHF RFID technology is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of NB-IoT connectivity.
- Skills in working with low-power platforms are essential.
Please note, there is no preferred hardware platform for this project. However, the device needs to be designed on a low-power platform to ensure longevity. Prior experience with similar projects will be highly regarded.
- Applicants should reside within Australia as we need to purchase HW for them.
- We need to have the prototype ready by mid October.
