Hardware, finish existing design

A hardware engineer is wanted to join an interesting project. The layout is already defined, as well as most of the PCB components. Your tasks will include: verifying the availability of existing and missing components in at least 3 European stores, optimizing the PCB cost by reducing the price where possible. You will need to deliver all design files, not just the gerbers. Additionally, the Bill of Materials (BOM) and Pick and Place files should be in the format used by PCB Way. The delivery time is 1 week. At the start, you will be provided with the PCB layout as well as a complete functionality explanation. This project involves improving an existing PCB, so most of the details are already defined. If the delivery timeframe is met, there is a possibility to extend the work to design a variant of the PCB for another device, as they share over 80% of the architecture.
