Fix existing PCB schema containing errors
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
Project Overview:
1. This is a multi step project.
First step is focused on fixing the existing PCB schema containing errors.
This bid is only for the first step of the project.
2. The project contains Schema & Gerber & BOM files created using Altium software.
3. Much of the existing design of the PCB is aimed to create a separation between the analog domain and the
digital domain, which is very important.
4. The design contains the following key components:
- Digital potentiometers.
- Voltage converter (to generate negative voltage).
- Microcontroller (Arduino).
5. The PCB is very simple, and contains 38 components altogether (including resistors, capacitors, etc.)
6. This project is not aimed for teams, agencies, companies, or groups of any kind.
This bid is for individual PCB designers, with knowledge and experience in designing analog & digital circuits.
7. I will share all required details with selected bidders.
Description of the existing issues:
The existing errors can be seen by observing the following:
1. The input voltage of the system is 9V (regulated).
Measuring the actual voltage of the system using the analog GND yields 9V.
But when measuring the actual voltage of the system using the digital GND yields ~5.5V.
2. The Arduino microcontroller fails to start properly.
Required tasks:
Review all project files (Gerber, BOM, Schema) locate the cause of the errors, offer solutions and update schema accordingly.
