We are seeking an experienced PCB designer who specializes in creating compact, efficient designs suitable for integration into larger systems. Our project involves developing a small PCB module that features a USB-C connection and incorporates castellated holes to allow it to function as an SMD component.
Project Requirements:
Design a small PCB with dimensions approximately 9mm x 8mm.
Include a USB-C connector and necessary circuitry, including two 5.1kΩ resistors for CC1 and CC2 pin connections.
Implement castellated holes along the edges to enable the PCB to be mounted as an SMD component on another PCB.
Ensure the design adheres to standard PCB manufacturing tolerances and capabilities, with attention to detail in edge milling for the castellated holes.
Skills Needed:
Proficiency in PCB design tools such as Altium Designer, Eagle, or KiCad.
Experience designing PCBs with SMD components and an understanding of castellated hole specifications.
Ability to produce complete manufacturing packages, including schematics, Gerber files, and assembly instructions.
Good communication skills to ensure requirements are clearly understood and met.
Deliverables:
