Design a PCB for a LED lighting system to be driven by a Raspberry Pi
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
We have an optics project that requires sources of Infrared and White light.
As the light source, we require the following LEDs
1. White LED :: 2x [OSRAM ams LUW H9GP-KYLY-4C8E-1-Z]
2. IR LED :: 1x [OSRAM ams SFH 4715AS A01]
These LEDs must be mounted to a PCB of specific dimensions at a specific location. (See the attached file).
Note that space is quite constrained - the PCB with the LED mounts is quite small so it may be required to break the system into two boards connected via a flex cable or similar
The LEDs must be able to be driven from a Raspberry Pi 4, with input from the GPIO pins.
At a certain time only of the two sources (i.e. IR or white) will be active.
The brightness of the LEDs should be controllable via PWM.
Your task is to design a PCB with the above requirements with...
1. Analyze the power consumption of the system -- these are high power LED and an RPi has limited current supply to peripherals - your design must take this into consideration.
2. Use only specific LEDs mentioned above.
3. Source other components (resistor/capacitor/mosfet/ic/etc) from Mouser India (mouser.in) ensuring that the component is in stock and can be dispatched
As deliverable you will provide:
1. Circuit diagrams and schematics of the system.
2. CAD model (step file) of the assembled PCB so that it can be integrated with our mechanical designs.
3. Designer files (Altium/KiCAD/etc)
4. Gerber files, pick and place files, and formatted BOM which can be sent to a vendor for manufacturing -- We use PCBPower as a vendor.
5. Work with us to correct any issues that may crop up during manufacturing [i.e. problems with hole sizes, footprints, etc]
