Design a Magic Color Detection Device

I need to design from scratch an electronic magic product. The idea is to be able to tell which color sharpie has been picked up from a pen holder. I would need to design a custom PCB that would be hidden in the pen holder. I would like to use RFID to detect which sharpie has been removed from the pen holder but would be open to other ways of achieving this. It should implement bluetooth as well. I would also need to code the firmware for the device. Secondly there would need to be a second device to receive information from the first. I.E showing what color has been picked on an LED screen or vibrating motor depending on the color picked up. I need this device designed and PCB made and firmware coded.

This project is for a pen holder that will be used in magic shows. It should be able to discreetly and effectively track which color sharpie is picked up, and communicate this to a second device which will display the information on an LED screen or vibrate a different amount of times depending on the color selected.

The device should be powered by a rechargeable battery.

The second device should be able to receive information from the pen holder within a range of up to 10 meters.
