Custom Circular PCB with ESP32-C3
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need a custom circular PCB designed and manufactured (including component assembly via services like PCBWay) to integrate several modules into one compact, reliable board.
Requirements:
Microcontroller: ESP32-C3 (bare MCU, not development board)
I previously used the ESP32-C3 Super Mini for testing, but many of its pins, USB port, and onboard buttons are unnecessary
However, red and blue indicator LEDs (similar to the Super Mini) should be included on the custom PCB
Flashing Interface:
A separate, reusable programming jig/module is required (spring-loaded, clip-on, or non-soldered) to flash the MCU before detaching
PCB Form Factor:
Circular PCB
Outer diameter: 33mm
15mm x 15mm square cutout in the center
Power Input:
12V input via 2-pin header
Input passes through a bridge rectifier
Followed by a 12V to 3.3V DC-DC buck converter to power the ESP32-C3
Outputs:
2-pin header to control an external 12V component (200mA coil) via MOSFET
2-pin header for an LED indicator
Control Logic:
The ESP32-C3 will control a MOSFET to switch the 12V power to the external component
The external component is a 12V / 200mA coil that may generate voltage spikes (inductive kickback) when switching; proper protection (such as a flyback diode or TVS diode) must be included to prevent damage to the circuit
Additional Requirements:
The freelancer will place the PCB production and assembly order on PCBWay (or similar service) using my provided shipping details
All files and documentation must be delivered at the end of the project, including:
Schematics
PCB layout
BOM
Gerber files
Any other relevant project files
