California Electrical Engineer for Code Compliance
Budget: $50 – $100 USD
I'm seeking a licensed electrical engineer based in California who would be responsible for ensuring code compliance on specific PV solar permit projects. PV plan sets are designed by electrical engineers (not Licensed in California) As an electrical engineer, you should be familiar with electrical codes and demonstrate excellent attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and verify electrical code compliance
- Carry out relevant research and provide advice on PV plan set corrections.
- The electrical engineering stamp to confirm that all of the work was prepared under his direct supervision, and “responsible charge”. This stamp is your formal declaration that the design documents conform to all requirements of the applicable standards and codes.
Skills & Experience:
- Licensed Electrical Engineer in California
- Working knowledge of common electrical codes and PV solar installations in California
- Experience in code compliance
Note: This role does not require site visits. You will be expected to reliably carry out tasks remotely.
