Android Phone that is not a Phone
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
Project design requires the components of an Android phone but without the cellular connectivity component. Design PCB that:
Must run Android Operating System in order to run Android application
Must power circular LED ring. (currently using Digispark ATtiny85 development board for power, color (white) and brightness, have code for this.)
Video camera capable of focus as close as 70mm, auto focus preferred
Wifi capable
Bluetooth
Touch screen support for small touch screen
Accelerometer (to sense motion for power on, but might use gyroscope as well?)
Gyroscope (to report level position, but not required.
USB C powered
Ability to update software required (Micro sd card? Or use a built-in browser to navigate to update file?)
Ideally PCB is circular with a 60mm diameter with camera mounted dead center
PCB powers a circular LED array.
PCB and LED array mounted on opposite sides of a 70mm diameter plate
