Aluminium Flexible LED PCB for Therapeutic of Autism/Parkinson

Job ID: 38398436

Budget: $250 – $750 NZD

I am seeking a competent individual or a team with vast experience in designing and creating flexible Aluminium LED Printed Circuit Board (PCB) used for biomedical treatments. This project focuses particularly on Autism Spectrum Disease (ASD) and Parkinson Disease (PD). The aluminium PCB will be flexible so it can be folded to fit patients head. The use of specific pulsed light is used for medical treatment.

Design Requirements:

The project output will be the design and production of PCB.
It will need to be capable of bending/shaping to fit the patients head as seen in Coronet example.
The headset will have 8 LEDs total.
The headset will have 40 LEDs of 670nM that operate together. (independent of the 810nM LEDs)
The headset will have 40 LEDs of 810nM that operate together (independent of the 670nM LEDs)
PCB mask color black
COnsideration for heat distribution must be considered. We do not want to generate heat.

LEDs Selected:
- Lumixtar SMD3030 1W IR 810nm High Power LED (Product Model: WL-1P3030EP120IR-810)
- LumixtarSMD3030 1W 3W 670nm Red High Power LED (Product Model: WL-1P3030EP120HR-670)

Project Outputs:
- Item 1: Design of schematic for PCB
- Item 2: Gerba Files to be able to order flexible Aluminium LED PCB suitable for design requirements

Optional Outputs:
- Produce 2 x prototype
- Integrate IC to handle the pulsing of LEDs at 40Hz.

Skills and Experience:

- Extensive experience in PCB design and construction
- Profound knowledge about LED applications in biomedical treatments
- Background in biomedical engineering, specifically with therapeutic tools for ASD and PD
- High level of creativity and problem-solving skills

This is a unique and challenging opportunity and I am looking for someone who has the expertise to design this innovative product. Your ability to deliver solutions within set deadlines without compromising on quality will be highly appreciated. Ongoing design work will be available as units are rapid prototyped for commercial application and biomedical approvals.
