Advanced SDCard-SPI Interface PCB Design
Budget: $250 – $750 CAD
A pcb designed to interface with an SDCard using low level commands (SPI Interface) and provide serial communication to the hosting PC.
pcb should have:
- 4 Traditional or surface mount LEDs (Red, Green, Yellow and Blue)
- a FTDI FT230X (USB Bridge, USB to UART USB 2.0 UART Interface) or similar chip to allow for UART communication to processor and PC
- header pins and documented process to program the cpu
- a female mini or micro USB connector for power and UART communication
- a standard sized push-pull SDCard socket at the opposite end of the USB interface
- on back of PCB should be the company logo (to be supplied)
- on front of PCB should be the word "CMD42" in an easy readable font and size
- a external row of header pins connected to the sdcard pins (SCLK, MOSI, MISO, CS, GND)
Deliverables should include:
- KiCAD files of PCB
- Gerber files in a format acceptable for production by JLCPCB
- a BOM and CPL file for all components acceptable by JLCPCB
- schematic drawing of the project
