I need a robust arc-suppression circuit engineered specifically for my RF welding machine. The goal is simple and non-negotiable: stop destructive arcing before it reaches the generator or matching network, protecting the entire system from costly downtime and repairs.

Key points you should know up front
• Purpose: prevention of equipment damage only—operator safety circuits are handled elsewhere.
• Architecture: solid-state components throughout; no relays or mechanical contacts.
• Ratings: I will share the operating voltage and current range once we start, so your design must be adaptable within those limits.

What I expect to receive
1. Schematic with clearly labeled protection stages (detection, quench, reset).
2. Bill of materials with manufacturer part numbers for easy sourcing.
3. Simulation files or oscilloscope screenshots that prove reaction time under a simulated arc fault.
4. PCB layout files (KiCad, Altium, or similar) ready for fabrication.
5. Brief application note describing installation, tuning, and any thermal considerations.

If you routinely work with RF power electronics and have experience in fast solid-state crowbar or clamp circuits, this will be straightforward. Please outline the core approach you intend to take—whether that’s high-speed MOSFET crowbar, SCR clamp, or another solid-state topology—and name the tools you’ll use (LTspice, ADS, etc.) so I can stay synced with your workflow.
