Key Responsibilities
• Circuit Design & Schematic Development:
• Firmware development
• PCB Layout & Component Integration:
Engineer high-efficiency switching regulators and power conversion circuits using simulation tools (e.g., Proteus, SIMetrix, SPICE, MATLAB/Simulink) to predict circuit behavior under varying loads.
Develop precise voltage regulation, over-voltage, and under-voltage protection mechanisms, along with current limiting and thermal shutdown features.
Design and optimize EMI/EMC mitigation strategies, including layout techniques, passive filtering, and shielding for robust performance in electrically noisy environments.
• Component Specification & Integration:
Select and qualify critical components (capacitors, resistors, semiconductors) ensuring adherence to electrical and thermal ratings, reliability, and cost constraints.
• Prototype development & testing
• Design Documentation & Collaboration:
Produce comprehensive design documentation including schematics, layout files, and component specifications for review and integration into system-level designs.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (mechanical design, firmware, system architecture) to ensure seamless integration of the hardware design into the overall solution.
• Proficiency in using circuit design and simulation tools (e.g., Altium Designer, SIMetrix, OrCAD, SPICE, MATLAB/Simulink) for rigorous design validation.
• In-depth knowledge of PCB layout techniques for high-current and high-voltage applications, including thermal and EMI management.
• Must deliver Schematic, pcb layout file, BOM, firmware, simulation file, working prototype, testing report.
