Smartwatch PCB for Sleep Monitoring

Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR

I need a compact, low-power PCB that turns my smartwatch concept into a reliable health-monitoring device focused on tracking sleep patterns. The board will host the core microcontroller, Bluetooth LE, battery management, and the sleep-sensing components while still fitting comfortably into a slim wearable enclosure.

Key requirements
• Primary purpose: health monitoring with emphasis on accurate, real-time sleep analysis.
• Metrics: sleep patterns only; no heart-rate or SpO₂ circuitry is necessary at this stage, which should help keep size and cost down.
• Sensor choice: I have not locked in a specific sensor set, so I’m open to your recommendations—whether an accelerometer, gyroscope, PPG, or a clever combination—to obtain reliable sleep-stage data.
• Form factor: round board no larger than 28 mm in diameter, ideally with all components on one side to simplify assembly.
• Power: designed for 7–10 days operation on a 200–250 mAh Li-ion coin cell, so every milliamp counts.
• Wireless: Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE 5.0 or later) for syncing data to a mobile app.

Deliverables you’ll provide
1. Complete schematic in Altium, KiCad, or Eagle (your choice, but please state it up front).
2. PCB layout ready for fabrication, including Gerber, drill, pick-and-place, and assembly drawings.
3. BOM with manufacturer part numbers, availability status, and indicative pricing.
4. Design report outlining sensor selection rationale, power budgeting, and any expected RF considerations.
5. One round of post-fabrication tweaks after initial prototypes if required.

I’ll supply the mechanical envelope and battery size constraints once we start. If you’ve previously squeezed BLE radios and precision analog front-ends into tiny wearables, I’d love to see those examples.
