Portable Rechargeable Lighter Circuit Design

Job ID: 40550955

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I want a complete specialized electronic circuit that powers a reusable lighter. The goal is to replicate—or, if necessary, freshly create—the entire circuit so the finished device is:

• Compact and portable
• Highly durable in daily use
• Powered by an onboard, rechargeable battery

I already have a clear idea of the form factor and performance I’m after; what I lack are the detailed schematics, PCB layout, and component selection that will ensure reliability and safety. The work should include:

1. Full circuit schematic with all safety features for high-current ignition.
2. PCB layout files ready for manufacturing (Gerber, drill, pick-and-place).
3. Bill of materials with part numbers that are readily sourced.
4. Guidelines for battery charging circuitry and protection.
5. Brief test protocol I can follow to validate the prototype.

Drop-in replacements for any proprietary parts are welcome as long as they meet the durability target. I’ll handle enclosure design separately, so focus strictly on the electronics. CAD packages such as Altium Designer, KiCad, or Eagle are fine; just let me know which you’ll use so I can open the files later.

If the design meets the size, toughness, and rechargeability criteria and ignites reliably during the test procedure, I’ll consider the project complete.
