I’m developing a residential chandelier made of individual light modules that “wake up” only when they clip to a neighbouring module. What I need from you is the full electrical blueprint that makes this interaction reliable, safe, and easy to manufacture.

Here’s the challenge in a nutshell: every module must carry its own touch sensor so a user can brush any piece and the entire connected assembly illuminates, while un-joined parts stay dark. Power will be fed by direct wiring from the ceiling or wall junction box; after that, I need to understand how the components of my light will “turn on” when touched together.

To let me move forward with prototyping, I’ll need:

• A complete schematic showing mains entry, conversion to low voltage, LED driver stage, individual capacitive-touch circuits per module, and the inter-module connectors that pass both power and data.
• A concise bill of materials with exact part numbers, ratings, and purchase links where possible.
• Guidance (or Gerber files) for a small PCB that can nest inside each module, plus any inline safety or surge components for the ceiling can.
• Wire-gauge and connector recommendations that withstand regular re-configuration yet keep resistance and heat under control.
• Basic compliance notes so the final build can satisfy typical residential safety codes (UL/CE).

If you’re comfortable specifying capacitive-touch ICs, constant-current LED drivers, magnetic or twist-lock connectors, and isolation strategies for 120/240 V mains, I’d love to review your proposal along with a milestone outline for delivering the schematic, BOM, and PCB files.
