LED lights and push button

Job ID: 34887754

Budget: $30 – $250 CAD

The first time the (normally open) switch is pressed, the first yellow LED turns on. When the switch is pressed again, the yellow LED turns off, but the red LED (#2) turns on.
As the above process repeats, with every odd number of the switch being pressed the first yellow LED turns on, and at every even number, the yellow LED turns off and simultaneously an additional adjacent red LED turns on.
You can think of this as a shift register that shifts the red light to the right, every other time the “normally open” switch is pressed.

When all 8 red LEDs are shifted on, at the next press of the N-O switch, CKT resets, the yellow LED turns on as normal, making the way for the process to repeat.
The completed project should have one yellow LED, 8 red LEDs, an On/Off switch, a reset switch, and a N-O switch.

Push button should be debounced
To eliminate the switch pressing contact error, a timer should be used to eliminate the error. Once the switch is pressed, timer should hold its output at high state for 5 seconds to ignore all switch inputs and effectively eliminate error during that time.

Battery
The circuit must be battery powered. Select the most efficient battery for the project. It must be compact and have enough power to last a long time. It should be rechargeable.

Micro controller
Must be Low power or Ultra low power

PCB Board
The circuit should be designed to fit on a credit card sized PCB Board

Enclosure
An enclosure is used to house the PCB.
