LED Clock Kit PCB Layout
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I’m putting together a small, beginner-oriented electronics kit and need a clean, well-organized PCB layout to bring it to life. The board’s sole purpose is to act as the learning platform itself, so clarity and ease of assembly are more important than squeezing every last millimetre out of the design.
For the most part, the schematic has been captured and the LEDs that make up the 7-segment displays has been laid out so all that is needed is to lay out the remaining components (0805 resistors, SOICs, and TQFPs, etc) and to do the routing across two layers.
More details will be discussed with the chosen freelancer, as there are some calculations to do with respect to power traces.
Deliverables:
• Completed project in EasyEDA (I will provide the design files)
• DRC passes with no errors, and is in line with JLCPCB capabilities.
If you have experience designing boards specifically for educational kits—or simply enjoy making electronics approachable—I’d love to hear how you’d tackle this.
