Heated Speaker Power Bank Prototype
Budget: ₹100 – ₹400 INR
I’m building a 10 000 mAh power bank that does much more than charge devices. Inside I need reliable battery management electronics, a compact class-D amp and quality Bluetooth speakers, while one outer face of the enclosure will be 304 stainless steel kept at a steady 50 °C by a Kapton heater pad and dedicated temperature controller.
Your job is to turn that concept into an engineered, manufacture-ready prototype. That means selecting components that can share the same 5 V/9 V/12 V rail without audio noise, laying out the PCB so the Bluetooth module has a clean RF environment, designing the thermal stack-up so skin contact is warm but never hazardous, and wrapping everything in a sleek case that still leaves enough acoustic volume for the speakers to sound good. SolidWorks, Altium (or KiCad), and thermal simulation tools such as ANSYS/Icepak are all acceptable as long as the final files are editable.
Deliverables
• Schematics, PCB Gerbers and editable CAD
• 3-D enclosure files with mounting points for battery, speaker drivers and Kapton heater
• Verified thermal model showing stainless steel plate stabilising at 50 °C under normal ambient conditions
• Complete BOM with supplier links and estimated cost per unit
• Assembly guide or video proving the prototype works as described
