EquiPulse Wearable Design Package

Job ID: 40312497

Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 USD

I’m building EquiPulse, a soft, low-profile band that sits snugly on a horse and records veterinary-grade ECG around the clock while also collecting IMU and temperature data. Before I move on to physical prototyping, I need a complete set of design files that a contract manufacturer can pick up without questions.

What I need from you
• A schematic with full electrical specifications—every component, value, and net clearly documented.
• A production-ready PCB layout for the compact pod, routed for signal integrity on the ECG front end and with secure connectors for the electrode band.
• An organised, supplier-verified BOM.
- firmware will be provided by us

Technical focus
Clean, artefact-free ECG is the top priority, so electrode paths, analogue front end, and filtering must be treated carefully. IMU and temperature sensing are equally important, but they must never compromise ECG signal quality. If you normally work in Altium Designer or KiCad, that’s perfect—as long as the output includes all native files and Gerbers.

Acceptance criteria
• Design files load without errors in the stated EDA tool.
• Firmware compiles and runs on the chosen MCU, streaming sample ECG, IMU, and temperature data while logging locally.
• Power profile confirms at least 48-72h continuous operation on a 300 mAh Li-ion pouch cell (bench measurement or simulation ok for this phase).

A clean, reliable data chain is everything here. If you can deliver the above package, we’ll move straight into the prototype build together next.
