Engineer to assess capacitive touch accuracy
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
Hi, I'm looking for help assessing & optimizing capacitive touch accuracy across various hardware/software combinations. Specifically, we will work with the Apple iPad Pro & Apple Pencil 2, the Surface Pro 3, and the Wacom drawing tablet.
The job will be to help create a scientific system (e.g., miniature experiments) so that we can test these aspects.
The goal is for us to optimize the capacitive touch precision in the apple products (specifically within our software) as compared to the other combinations. We have laboratory equipment that can help us in this experimentation and are open to purchasing additional equipment if the pricing is reasonable. I will then conduct the experiments using my setup via zoom meetings. We can make adjustments live, troubleshoot together, and determine how to achieve these scientific goals.
Also, please write the word "Touch Accuracy" on top of the job description so I can identify who read this job description.
Lastly, I have a software development group that will be working on the optimization process. Please specify if you are interested in working on the best way to assess capacitive touch accuracy if you can help with the optimization of our software or both.
Thank you.
