Design & Development of a One-Time-Use Wearable Device + Athlete Tracking App
Project Description:
We are seeking an experienced team (or freelancer with hardware + software capabilities) to design and develop a one-time-use wearable device integrated with a mobile athlete tracking application.
The wearable will capture essential activity and health metrics and transmit them to the mobile app for visualization, reporting, and analysis. The goal is to provide athletes, coaches, and health experts with a simple, disposable, and cost-effective monitoring solution.
Scope of Work:
1. Wearable Device Design (One-Time-Use)
Form Factor: Lightweight, compact, disposable, comfortable for sports use
Sensors: Heart rate, body temperature, SpO₂, calorie burn, movement/steps (accelerometer/gyroscope)
Connectivity: Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) for syncing with mobile app
Battery: Sufficient for one-time or short-term continuous use (24–72 hours depending on design)
Durability: Sweat/water resistance
Production Files: PCB design, enclosure design, and prototype-ready documentation
2. Mobile Application (iOS & Android)
Device Integration: Sync data from the wearable in real-time via BLE
Activity Tracking: Steps, running, cycling, swimming, GPS route tracking
Health Monitoring: Vital signs and fatigue analysis based on wearable data
Data Visualization: Graphs, performance stats, and reports
Sharing: Export health/performance data to coaches and health professionals
Notifications: Personalized goals, reminders, and alerts
3. Analytics & Reporting
Weekly/monthly performance reports
Injury risk prediction and fatigue analysis (optional AI/ML integration)
Cloud-based storage for multi-user/team data access
Deliverables:
