165 V DC-DC Converter Design

Job ID: 40212114

Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR

I need an engineer to take my concept for a high-voltage DC-DC converter and translate it into a complete, build-ready design that slots straight into a renewable-energy storage setup. The converter will accept 24 V DC at the input and deliver a regulated 165 V DC output. Efficiency, thermal management, and long-term reliability matter far more to me than squeezing every last cent out of the BOM, so component quality and sound topology choices come first.

You will own the full electrical design flow—topology selection, key-component sizing, magnetics specification, control strategy, and all supporting calculations. I expect LTspice or an equivalent simulation environment to demonstrate stability, transient response, and efficiency before we move on to hardware. Once the numbers look solid, translate the schematic into a compact, manufacturable PCB (Altium, KiCad, or similar) and supply clean Gerbers.

Deliverables
• Schematic with clearly marked values and reference designators
• Simulation files and plots confirming 165 V DC ±2 % regulation, ≤2 % ripple, and >90 % peak efficiency at nominal load
• PCB layout (source files and Gerbers) engineered for low EMI and safe creepage/clearance
• Tidy BOM with manufacturer part numbers and projected lead times
• Brief design report summarising decisions, test methodology, and results

Acceptance criteria: when I run your simulation on my side, it must reproduce the voltage regulation and efficiency you documented; PCB files should pass a standard DRC with the fabrication house.
