Compact BLDC Power Board Design

Job ID: 40410992

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I need a skilled BLDC control engineer to design a single, space-saving PCB that combines four key blocks:

• A BLDC motor controller focused on Power Delivery with reliable speed control.
• A high-efficiency 5 V–12 V DC-DC booster to feed the motor and peripherals.
• An integrated Li-ion battery charger that handles cell balancing, safety cut-offs, and status LEDs.
• A master on/off switch that cleanly disconnects both battery and load.

My goal is a production-ready board that I can drop straight into a compact device. I expect complete deliverables: schematics, PCB layout files, detailed BOM, and firmware or configuration files for the motor driver.

Please build in protections against over-current, under-voltage, and thermal events, and keep overall footprint as small as practical. If you have experience with popular BLDC driver ICs, synchronous buck/boost topologies, and Li-ion charge management (e.g., TI, ST, or Infineon parts), let me know—component availability and cost will influence the final design.

I’m ready to move quickly once we align on the architecture and milestones.
