Analog input module (current and voltage measurement) development for protection relay design

We are looking for embedded system engineer to work with us on the development of Analog input board for protection relay design.
Job requires to develop 8 channel input board for measuring of 50/60Hz current and voltages.
4 x current input 1/5 A
4x voltage input – 100 VAC
Current inputs designed for nominal current In=1and 5 A (AC) and voltage for nominal voltage of 100 VAC.
Current inputs possible overload up to 100 x In for 1second.
Voltage inputs overload up to 500VAC for 1 second.
Inputs measuring in class 0.5.
ADC sampling to be at least 5kHz for 50Hz and 6kHz for 60Hz networks (100x Power system frequency) . Better than 18 bit resolution.
Filtering od digital signal with digital low pass filter for frequencies of up to 10x power system frequency (50/60 Hz).
Frequency tracing to be implemented – measurement range for fequency from 5-66 Hz.
Board has to have CAN FD bus (5Mbit) connection to main processing module, or some other more feasible solution proposed by freelancer.
Design work includes :
- block diagram and working principle
- selection of main components (ADC's , filters, shunts, CT's, OpAmps, filters, MCU, CAN transcivers, etc.)
- schematic and PCB layout in KiCAD - firmware development.
Prototype will be assemble and test in our lab and we will give feedback and requests for modifications when tests are done.
