Office Network Troubleshooting & PC Training
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
Our small office is expanding and I need a specialist who can get every workstation connected, secure, and running smoothly, then show the team how to make the most of Microsoft Office.
Network scope
– The current wired network serves several computers but drops connections and slows down file-sharing. I need the cabling, switches, and configuration checked, any bottlenecks fixed, and the whole setup documented so future changes are straightforward.
Computer maintenance
All desktops require a full health check: hardware repairs or upgrades where necessary, clean operating-system installs or updates, and a thorough sweep for viruses or malware. Once each machine is stable I want a clear hand-over note listing what was done and any parts replaced.
Staff training
After the technical work, run an on-site session that walks our team through everyday tasks in MS Office—particularly Excel formulas, PowerPoint slide design, and general tips that improve productivity. Leave behind concise cheat-sheets so new hires can get up to speed quickly.
Deliverables
• Restored, documented wired network covering multiple office PCs
• Fully serviced computers: hardware repaired, software updated, infections removed
• 1 half-day interactive training with supporting materials (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Acceptance criteria
The network must maintain stable gigabit speeds for one hour under load testing; each PC should pass a malware scan with zero threats; and staff should be able to create a simple pivot table and a branded slideshow unaided at the end of training.
