Barcode/QR Scanning and Label Printing System
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
We use Nicelabel software and create our product labels.
We have separate production software that generates our works orders , on these works orders is the products being made , their batch number and the quantity.
I want to create a way of scanning a barcode/QR that is on our works order, that then tells Nicelabel what label artwork needs to be printed and also selects the correct variable data to be printed onto that label and populates the batch number details.
currently the operator needs to open nice label select the label they think is correct then select the variable data line to over print from a list of many items , then type in the batch number and we are get too many mistakes
so very simple put I need to automate the task of selecting the correct label, to reduce the human errors.
people looking at helping me on this must be familiar with Nice label from Loftware.

Key Requirements:
- Barcode/QR code Scanning: The system should be able to scan the codes efficiently.
- USB Connection: The scanning device will be connected via USB.
- Label Printing: The scanned information should be effectively communicated to Nicelabel software from Loftware, so the correct label artwork is printed.
Ideal Skills:
- Previous work with Nicelabel software from Loftware is a must !
- Experience in creating barcode/QR scanning systems for desktop/laptop devices.
- Proficiency in integrating various software systems.
