SQL & Python Tutoring and Training for Payroll Applications

Hello,
I am working in the Global Payroll domain and I want to learn SQL and Python, but only the parts that are relevant to payroll systems. I am not looking to become a full software developer, but I want to use these skills to automate, validate, and analyze payroll data effectively.

This is a paid learning project, and I am looking for a trainer or freelancer who can teach me in a very simple, structured, and practical way — using payroll examples and scenarios.

What I want to learn:

1. SQL (Basic, Focused on Payroll Use in Oracle):

Basic SQL Concepts:

SELECT, FROM, WHERE, AND, OR, LIKE

ORDER BY, GROUP BY, HAVING

INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE


JOINS: INNER, LEFT, RIGHT (with payroll tables example)

Subqueries and CASE statements (e.g., for payroll conditions)

Basic Functions: COUNT, SUM, AVG, MAX, MIN

Filtering employee data, salary data, overtime, deductions, etc.

SQL for validating payroll batches, comparing gross and net, etc.

Using SQL in Oracle Database (if possible with any simulation)

2. Python (For Payroll Validation, Calculation, and Automation):

Python Basics: Variables, Loops, If-Else, Functions

Reading Excel or CSV files (for employee and payroll input)

Validating employee data: Missing fields, incorrect format, invalid salary range, etc.

Automating salary calculation (Basic Pay + Allowance - Deductions)

Generating simple output reports or error logs

Automating monthly tasks (ex: create payslip format, calculate taxes, EOS, etc.)

Using Python to automate repetitive validation steps
