SAP Overtime Rules Setup
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
I need to refine our SAP Time Management configuration so overtime is captured, calculated, and approved correctly every time. The scope sits squarely in Time Recording & Evaluation, with a spotlight on evaluating current overtime workflows and then setting up new overtime rules that also cater for casual employees.
Today, the system handles basic hours but the overtime logic is inconsistent across plants and personnel sub-groups. You will review the existing schema/rules, design the correct overtime rules (daily, weekly, public-holiday, and casual-specific), configure them in the IMG, and make sure they flow through to payroll without manual intervention. If you prefer user exits or PCRs, that’s fine as long as the solution remains standard-friendly and auditable.
Deliverables
• Transportable configuration (PCRs, schemas, tables) for the new overtime rules
• Unit and integration test evidence covering permanent, shift, and casual staff scenarios
• A concise “how it works” document so my in-house team can maintain the setup
Acceptance criteria
• All overtime hours calculated automatically according to the rule matrix we will supply
• No manual edits required in CATS or PT60 for the covered scenarios
• Payroll posting results reconcile to time evaluation totals within ±0.1% variance
I will provide remote SAP access, existing documentation, and sample time data. Let’s lock in the configuration and get the overtime flowing smoothly.
