Pharma Bookkeeping & Payroll Management

I run a fast-growing pharmaceutical label that ships nationally, and I need a detail-oriented accountant to keep our books clean and our people paid on time. The core of the assignment is ongoing bookkeeping—recording daily sales, purchases, and inventory-related adjustments—inside Sage, which is already set up with our chart of accounts. If you are more comfortable in QuickBooks or Xero I’m open to suggestions, but my clear preference is to stay in Sage so we avoid a platform migration.

Alongside the books, I also want you to take full ownership of payroll. That includes entering hours, handling statutory deductions, and producing payslips for a team that fluctuates between 18 and 25 employees depending on production cycles. You will interface with our bank for direct deposits and make sure all filings are sent off on schedule.

Deliverables each month
• Reconciled Sage ledger with supporting documentation
• Payroll processed and filed, with employee payslips issued
• Summary reporting (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) delivered by the 5th business day
