HR Compliance Setup for Startup
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
Need an experienced freelance HR & compliance partner to get all of our people-ops foundations in place quickly and correctly.
Scope of work
• Mandatory registrations: complete PF, ESIC and Professional Tax enrolments, obtain all establishment codes, and upload the first set of employee data.
• Payroll & statutory compliance
Acceptance criteria
• Active PF, ESIC and PT credentials visible on the respective government portals.
• A documented step-by-step recruitment and onboarding workflow (editable Google Doc or Notion page).
• Payroll file template, statutory payment challans for the first month, and a tracker listing all filing deadlines for the next 12 months.
This is a short-term, fully remote project. Startup experience will be a big plus because I need someone comfortable working with limited existing structure and moving fast. If you’ve set up HR and compliance stacks for young Indian companies before, I’d love to work together.
