Artwork Business Payroll & Books

I run a boutique artwork company that pays staff on both sides of the border and tracks hundreds of individual pieces and materials every month. I’m looking for a bookkeeper based in the U.S. or Canada who can take full ownership of these three areas:

• Weekly payroll – Prepare and submit compliant runs for U.S. and Canadian employees, remit taxes, and file any supporting reports without hand-holding.
• Inventory management – Keep the catalogue of finished artwork and raw supplies up to date so cost of goods sold always matches reality.
• General account management – Reconcile bank and card feeds, close the books each month, and flag anything that looks off.

I currently keep everything in Wave and would like to stay there if possible, though I’m open to a smooth transition to QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage should you have a clear rationale.

Success for me means every Friday payroll is out on time and error-free, month-end reports tie out, inventory counts match the physical studio, and I don’t have to chase for numbers. If that sounds like your wheelhouse, let’s talk.
