Replit Canteen Ordering App

I’m building a cross-platform mobile application in Replit that lets students place and track canteen orders from their phones. The goal is a smooth, intuitive experience that works equally well on iOS and Android without forcing me to juggle separate codebases.

Core features I need implemented:
• Menu browsing with pictures, prices, and daily specials
• Real-time order tracking that updates status from “placed” to “ready for pickup”
• Secure payment processing (card, wallet, or campus balance)

Everything will live in a Replit workspace, so you’ll be comfortable using its built-in version control, package management, and mobile preview tools. I’ll invite you to the project; you structure the repo, wire up the user interface, hook in a lightweight backend or cloud function for orders, and integrate a PCI-compliant payment API.

Deliverables:
• Replit project link containing clean, well-commented code
• iOS and Android build artifacts (or store-ready bundles) generated directly from the workspace
• A short README explaining setup, environment variables, and how to deploy future builds

Once I can browse today’s menu, pay, and watch the order move to “ready,” the project is complete.
