About Vault
Vault is a creator platform designed to connect writers, artists, animators, developers, and readers in one ecosystem. The platform includes creator profiles, portfolios, projects, publishing tools, community features, events, applications, and future marketplace functionality.
What I Need:
I am looking for an experienced developer to build the payment, subscription, and access control systems for the platform. The goal is to allow users to purchase memberships, support projects financially, contribute to funding campaigns, and automatically receive the correct access and benefits after payment.
Key Requirements
• Stripe payment integration
• NAB business account integration for payouts
• Membership subscription system
• User tier management
• Payment verification through webhooks
• Premium access control system
• Project support payments
• Funding campaign payments
• Payment history
• Admin payment management
• Secure backend implementation
Important
This is not a simple payment button setup. I need someone who has experience building payment systems for SaaS platforms, subscription services, creator platforms, marketplaces, or similar products.

• Experience with membership and access control systems

The coding my website is on is;
It’s a monolithic server-rendered web app built on:
• Node.js
• Express
• EJS templating
• SQLite via better-sqlite3
More specifically:
• Backend runtime: Node.js
• HTTP framework: Express 4
• View layer: EJS server-side rendered templates
• Database: SQLite
• DB access pattern: synchronous SQL queries through better-sqlite3
• Session/auth: express-session with password hashing via bcryptjs
• Frontend: mostly server-rendered HTML + CSS with light client-side JavaScript
If you do well with this project, I will be continuing to use your services to do other tasks within the website, I am looking for a long-term developer that can help me with advice as well. I am not an expect in coding so I will heavily rely on your knowledge.
