Xendit Events Booking Plugin
Budget: $10 – $80 USD
Build a payment plugin for the Joomdonation “Events Booking” extension that processes transactions through the Xendit gateway. I have included a reference redirect plugin on GitHub (https://github.com/joomdonation/os_eb_redirect) and Xendit’s official API documentation (https://docs.xendit.co/apidocs) to guide the work.
Scope of work
• Extend the Events Booking payment framework so attendees can complete checkout with Xendit.
• Support the full range of channels I use on Xendit: Credit/Debit Card, Bank Transfer, E-Wallet, Online Banking and QR Ph. If Xendit introduces additional methods later, the code should allow easy addition.
• Handle token creation, charge/authorise requests, callbacks / webhooks and status updates so order records inside Events Booking stay perfectly in sync.
• Able to add service charge/s per payment method
• Respect Joomla coding standards and keep all logic in a self-contained plugin folder so future Events Booking or Joomla updates don’t overwrite it.
Deliverables
1. Installable Joomla plugin (.zip) ready for Events Booking (latest stable release).
2. Complete, well-commented source code pushed to my Git repository.
3. A short setup guide covering plugin installation, Xendit API key placement, webhook configuration and a test transaction walkthrough.
4. Proof of successful live or sandbox transactions for each payment channel listed above.
Acceptance criteria
• No PHP errors or notices with Joomla debug enabled.
• Correct order status changes on success, failure, cancel or timeout.
• All user-facing text loaded through Joomla language files for easy translation.
• Proven experience on Joomdonation Events Booking is a plus.
Feel free to base the structure on the provided redirect plugin, but the finished work must be clean, production ready and thoroughly tested.
