WooCommerce PayPal Gateway Setup

My WooCommerce store is already live; what’s missing is a correctly configured payment flow. I need PayPal set up as the primary gateway and the standard WooCommerce “Bank Transfer” option activated and tested so customers can choose either method at checkout.

Here’s what I’m looking for you to handle:

• Connect my PayPal account using the latest WooCommerce PayPal extension, enter the API credentials, and verify the webhook.
• Enable the built-in Direct Bank Transfer option, adjust the instructions that appear on the order-received page, and make sure the orders land in the proper status for manual approval.
• Run end-to-end tests in both sandbox and live mode, confirming successful authorisation, capture, refund, and cancellation flows.
• Harden the setup with HTTPS confirmation, IPN/webhook reliability checks, and clear error handling so shoppers never see an unexplained failure.

I don’t have a rigid deadline, but I do want it completed methodically and documented so I can maintain it myself later. If you’ve implemented PayPal on WooCommerce stores before—especially where multiple methods coexist—please share a brief example or two.

Once everything is live and I can process real transactions smoothly, the project is done.
