Stripe Gateway Pause for two factor authentication integration
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I am looking for an experienced professional that can integrate two factor authentication into my Stripe payment process. My preferred authentication method is 2FA Verification and the software to be used is the Stripe API.
We have a wordpress booking plugin installed. All is working well except at the payment stage when the booking is pushed to Stripe for payment processing. The order is being accepted into the wordpress plying dashboard before the full payment has been processed in stripe. Approximately 1 in every 10 order are getting through as full orders when the use may have abandoned the payment at the two factor authentication stage in Stripe.
It would seem that the plugin is not set to wait until the full payment process is completed in stripe before it is going back to the plugin and confirming the payment is complete.
I spoke with the plugin developers and they have said that they don't know why their plugin is doing this. So they can not help.
My thoughts on the issue is that with stripe, ideally they should have used a webhook call (payment notification by stripe to the server directly) and then the payment is to be updated in the plugin against the order
I am looking for an experienced developer that has proven track record of completing similar integrations successfully and quickly.
I have the site setup on a staging test server for you to work on, when complete, we will need to move your edited files and code to they live server.
If you can also test this with your own Stripe API test keys while working on the project.
This project is urgent and needs to be completed ASAP.
Thank you
Bob
