Shopify Payment Gateway Setup

I have a monthly rental platform in Shopify, where the user can access our products for a predetermined monthly price.
Currently I am having difficulty at the Checkout stage. I have activated all Shopify payments settings and registered with Razorpay but still my store isn't accepting payments.
I want assistance and help to setup a payment gateway through Razorpay for my Shopify store. It should be a recurring monthly payment procedure. The user should be able to opt for a membership plan to access our products and pay monthly automatically on a recurring basis. Also, if the user cancels Autopay from their side or misses a month's payment then the membership should cancel automatically.
It is mandatory to keep me updated and keep me the loop at every step. I will not intervene but I need to understand how it's getting done for my future reference.
