Ride-Hailing Payment & Feature Upgrade
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
Our KM-based ride-hailing app is ready for its next leap and I’m looking for someone who can handle the full stack of upgrades in one coherent sprint. We want pricing have ,Minimum price, start. per km, per minutes, wait time, booking fee etc like bolt pricing
The first priority is a robust payment revamp—think Bolt-level polish. I need multiple payment methods available at checkout (card, wallet, mobile money, etc.), seamless payment splitting when two or more riders share a trip, and automatic billing with itemised receipts sent to both rider and driver as soon as the journey ends.
Alongside that, the booking flow must grow up. Riders should be able to schedule trips in advance, receive timely ride reminders/notifications, and see those reservations reflected instantly on the driver side.
Airport pickups are another key pillar. The app has to surface a meet-and-greet option, track incoming flights in real time, and allow riders to declare extra luggage during booking so the right vehicle is dispatched.
Finally, true ridesharing: I want an algorithm that matches riders heading the same direction, lets each one join the car at different points, and then divides the fare automatically according to their individual legs.
Deliverables (all code to be production-ready and fully tested):
• Updated iOS/Android apps with new UI flows for payments, scheduling, airport pickup and rideshare
• New/modified backend endpoints, database changes and admin reporting for the above features
• Integration with at least two popular payment gateways, plus webhook handling for splitting and refunds
• Comprehensive QA test suite and short video demo showing every new flow in action
If you’ve built similar modules with tools like Stripe, Braintree, Firebase, Node.js, Flutter or React Native, you’ll hit the ground running. Let me know which of these stacks you prefer and how quickly you can deliver a first working milestone.
