Payment Gateway Integration on CodeIgniter Based Website

I bought script from marketplace. The script is well coded and built with PHP Codeigniter. This is a SaaS script so there are already payment gateway feature there, that's PayPal & Stripe. What i want is i need to integrate new local payment gateway.
This new payment gateway has PHP SDK available on their github repo. This would be easy if you know about codeigniter, php, api and experienced in payment gateway integration before. You can follow previous payment gateway that has been integrated to the script before and modify it to make it integrate well with new one.
I will give access to the github repo of payment gateway SDK, access to server, and login to payment gateway portal to access sandbox api. You can direct edit to our production site because we just started to begin so no worry to bother any existing users.
