PayHere Hash Update Needed
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I’m running WP Travel Engine on my WordPress site and still rely on the original PayHere payment-gateway addon. PayHere now requires hash-based validation, so the current addon fails whenever a guest tries to pay.
I can give you the plugin files and staging credentials, but server access will stay limited; you’ll need to work locally, patch the addon, and send back a clean drop-in update that I can install through the WordPress dashboard.
The job is straightforward:
• Add the new hash calculation and verification exactly as PayHere’s latest documentation specifies.
• Keep every existing feature—booking flow, callbacks, and email notifications—working as they do now.
• Follow WordPress best practices so future core or plugin updates won’t wipe the fix.
• Prove success on both sandbox and live modes before delivery.
If you’ve handled other gateway integrations or similar SHA/MD5 security upgrades, let me know. I’m ready to share the docs and files as soon as we agree on a timeline.
